What’s New
The AI chat widget on your website remembers returning visitors and picks up
their previous conversation right where it left off. That’s great for
continuity — but until now there was no way for a visitor to change the
subject and start clean.
Now there is. A ”+” button in the widget header starts a brand-new
conversation while keeping everything else working as before.
How It Works
- One click, fresh start — the visitor taps the + button next to the
close button and gets an empty thread with your greeting, ready for a new
topic. - Old threads close automatically — the previous conversation is marked
closed in your AI Inbox, so your team’s view stays tidy. - Resume still works — if the visitor reloads the page or comes back
later, the widget resumes their newest conversation, just like before. - Human takeovers are respected — if one of your agents has taken over a
conversation, starting a new one won’t close the agent’s thread; it stays
open in the inbox until the agent wraps it up.
No setup needed — the button appears automatically once a conversation has
messages in it.
