Sure Send could text you about almost anything — a new text message arriving,
an export finishing, someone @mentioning you, a task coming due. In practice
that meant getting a text to tell you that you had a text, and a settings
screen with an “Enable All” button that could switch on texting for more than
fifty different events in a single click.
We’ve narrowed text notifications down to the moments where a text is genuinely
the right tool: new business arriving, when you’re away from every screen.
Where text notifications are still available
- A lead is assigned or reassigned to you
- A new lead is added to a pond you have access to
- A new lead is available to claim in a First-to-Claim group
- A visitor asks a question on one of your Connect pages
Plus a small set of account warnings that need to reach you wherever you are:
your credits being fully depleted, your Gmail or Outlook connection being revoked, and a
phone number that needs to be reassigned.
Everything else moves to mobile push
Inbound texts, emails, voicemails and missed calls, inbox assignments,
@mentions, tasks, referrals, library updates and export results are now
delivered through in-app, mobile push, and email notifications.
If you were relying on texts for any of these, install the Sure Send mobile app
and turn on Mobile Push in Settings → Notifications. Push notifications
arrive faster than SMS, are free, and tapping one takes you straight to the
record instead of making you follow a link.
What you’ll see in Settings
In Settings → Notifications, the SMS column now only shows a toggle on the
rows where text notifications are available. Rows without one are in-app, push
and email only. Your existing choices on the remaining rows are unchanged.
